Role Description

At Respond.io, the Product Designer plays a critical role in shaping the user experience of our SaaS platform and mobile application. We seek a problem solver passionate about designing intuitive, data-driven, and user-centric solutions. As part of the Product Department, you will collaborate closely with Product Managers, UX Writers, and Engineers to craft seamless user journeys that drive business impact. This role demands ownership and initiative, from conducting user research and leveraging analytics tools like Mixpanel and Pendo, to designing wireframes and high-fidelity interfaces that align with both user needs and business goals.

You will also contribute to maintaining and evolving the Respond.io Design System, ensuring design consistency across all touchpoints. Responsibilities

Collaborate with Product Managers, UX Writers, and Tech teams to solve real user problems through thoughtful design solutions
Own the end-to-end design process, from research and wireframing to high-fidelity designs and final implementation
Use data analytics tools like Mixpanel and Pendo to make informed design decisions
Conduct UX research, usability testing, and other user testing methods to validate and refine designs
Communicate design concepts clearly to stakeholders through presentations and storytelling.
Maintain and improve the Respond.io Design System, ensuring consistency across all products
Lead and facilitate design workshops when necessary
Work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment and iterate on designs based on feedback from users, stakeholders, and data insights

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g., UI/UX Design, Computer Science, Human-Computer Interaction) or equivalent practical experience
2+ years of experience as a UI/UX or Product Designer, preferably in a B2B SaaS company.
Proficiency in Figma and FigJam is required
A strong online portfolio showcasing UX/UI work, with examples of problem-solving and design thinking
Solid understanding of typography, color theory, and layout principles to create visually appealing designs
Experience conducting user research, usability testing, and data-driven design improvements
Familiarity with atomic design principles and design system management
Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to explain design decisions clearly
A team player who thrives in a collaborative, fast-moving environment
Ability to think strategically and execute designs efficiently while considering business and user needs
