Role Description
Respond.io is scaling rapidly following our Series A, with a clear ambition to build a best-in-class, future-ready finance function.
We’re hiring a Senior Finance Specialist to sit within our Accounting & Planning function. This is a senior individual contributor role, equivalent in scope and compensation to a Finance Manager, designed for someone who thrives on ownership, complexity, and impact rather than people management.
You will own the integrity of the numbers, lead critical finance processes, and act as a trusted thought partner to leadership on performance, planning, and financial decision-making.
This role is ideal for someone with experience across accounting, reporting, and FP&A who wants breadth, autonomy, and real influence in a high-growth SaaS environment.
Responsibilities:
Qualifications:
5–7+ years of relevant finance experience, with meaningful hands-on FP&A or commercial finance exposure
Background in Big Four plus in-house FP&A / commercial finance experience is strongly preferred
(Big Four audit alone will not be sufficient for this role)
Proven experience in budgeting, forecasting, variance analysis, and management reporting
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field; professional qualifications (ACCA, CPA, ICAEW) are a strong plus
Strong analytical judgement, attention to detail, and ability to operate with autonomy
Clear communicator who can translate numbers into business implications
Comfortable working in a scaling, ambiguous, high-growth SaaS environment
