We are one messaging platform for various use case like marketing purposes, sales, support and engineering.

Role Description

At Respond.io, Pre-sales Engineer is pivotal to our company’s success. We are seeking a detailed-oriented individual that is ready to be part of our Sales team. Specialising in solution discussion, process improvement and best practices to help our customers succeed (Jack of all solutions)

Responsibilities

Partner with Customer Success and Customer support team to drive complex, multi-stakeholder deal cycles across industries to solve diverse mission-critical business problems
Drive the discovery process, helping to uncover your customers current pains and align to their business objectives
Ability to understand, assess and document prospects and clients’ challenges and objectives in order to prepare specific solution demonstrations and formal documentation
Guide customers through the evaluation process ensuring that our solution meets key business objectives and technical requirements
Prepare and deliver high-impact presentations and demonstrations
Act as a liaison between Product, Marketing and Sales, sharing customer feedback to help craft the product roadmap

Qualifications

2+ years of experience in Sales Engineering/Pre-sales or Solution consulting experience in SaaS organisation in mid segments
Solution driven mindset in solving your customer’s business challenges and curate solutions according to their business objectives
Ability to thrive and adapt to a rapidly evolving product and market that will define the future of Business communication
Good communication skills in English with an ability to clearly explain complex ideas verbally and in writing;
Nimble and agile team player with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced startup environment.
